What types of assessments is the NAWWG-MT covering?
Pre-assessment
- used to indicate students' readiness for content and skill development
- used to guide instructional decisions
Formative Assessment
- used during a unit to provide the opportunity for immediate evidence of student learning
- used to improve quality of student learning
- leads to curricular modifications when any student has not met learning outcomes
- may or may not be graded
Summative Assessment
- comprehensive
- provides accountability
- used to check the level of learning at the end of the program
